I’ve had my Mazda for about 4 1/2 years and we’re a little shy of 173k on the clock. Since I no longer commute my yearly mileage has been cut in about half; which is good.
M y license plate light went out the other day. It’s the first bulb to burn out on my car. While looking at all the bulbs I decided to pick up some more since I figured if one goes out, more will follow. I’ve been thinking my headlights look dimmer recently. Headlights ~$50
DRL/highbeams ~$50
Unnecessary “upgrades”:
LED tag lights, tail lights, and hatch light since I’ve never liked how dim it was. ~$50
Holy crap the LEDs are so much brighter. If my next car doesn’t come with them I’m upgrading earlier in my ownership.

I changed out the interior lights (dome, map, trunk) for LED’s last year and it’s amazing how much of a difference it makes just being able to see things at night inside. I used to use a flashlight all the time to find stuff at night.

that always the first thing I do to cars/bikes. if it doesnt have LEDs or HIDs stock, they get swapped out.

Which ones did you go with?
I just swapped a blown brake light bulb with an “Ajumker” 7506 replacement one off Amazon for CAD $18/pair.
It isn’t epically brighter than the bulb on the other side, you only notice it if you’re looking for it.
I quite fancy upgrades to my DRLs and tails, maybe even the main beams but everything online seems a bit new and untested. Reliability long term is my main concern, especially if I'm spending one time money

Next step is the reverse lights. My tag lights shouldn’t be brighter than those

Thinking about those too

The original headlight on my ‘73 CL450 just went out. Thinking about finding an LED replacement.

The only exterior I did were the license plate lights. Figured let the cops see my plate better, get pulled over less. Not being a dick about speeding and using your signals also helps.
